Understanding the TCA CROSS Method
Trichloroacetic acid chemical reconstruction of skin scars (TCA CROSS) works by placing small amounts of TCA directly into individual acne scars.
The solution causes a controlled reaction in the skin, encouraging it to rebuild collagen within the dermal layer of the skin. Collagen is the crucial protein that acts like a support network underneath the skin.
